Seasonal change of antennas

Saturday was a nice day in The Netherlands (sunny and warm), so I decided to change antennas again: 6m yagi out and 30/40m dipole in. After 4 hours work, in relatively high temperatures and losing a lot of sweat, the switch was complete.

Tower folded over during antenna work. The 30/40m dipole is already mounted above the 3 ele SteppIR.

waarom doe je niet wat 6m elementen in je SteppIR? Dan kun je die D30/40 laten hangen, in de zomer is er soms best wat leuks te werken op 30M. Of is het verschil in gain te groot?

I have included an extra 6m director in my SteppIR now. This gives me a back-up antenna for 6 m, however the separate 6 ele DK7ZB outperforms the SteppIR by 2~3dB, which is a lot in weak signal multihop Es DXing.
